Terms and Conditions

These terms cover your use of afsoutravels.com. They are separate from our Booking Conditions, which govern a trip once you have booked one, and from our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your information.

1. Who runs this website

This site is owned and operated by Afsou Travels, a private tour operator based in Morocco. Where these terms say “we” or “us”, that is who we mean. Where they say “you”, we mean anyone using the site.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.

2. Using the site

You are welcome to read our pages, save them, and print them for your own travel planning.

Please do not attempt to gain access to any part of the site that is not public, copy the site or a substantial part of it for your own commercial use, use automated tools to harvest content or contact details, introduce anything malicious, or use the site in a way that damages it or interferes with anyone else’s use of it.

3. Our content

The text, itineraries, route descriptions, page design and the photographs on this site belong to Afsou Travels or are used with permission. Twenty five years of local knowledge went into the itineraries described here, and they took real work to write.

You may quote a short passage with a clear credit and a link back to the page. You may not republish a page, copy our itineraries into your own brochure or website, or use our photographs commercially, without written permission. Ask us and we will usually say yes to something reasonable.

4. How accurate this site is

We keep the site current and we check it, but travel information moves. Opening hours change, a road closes, a riad refurbishes, a price moves with the season. Nothing on these pages is a guarantee that a particular detail will be true on the day you travel.

Descriptions of journeys are illustrations of what we can build, not fixed products. Your own itinerary is the one we write for you and confirm in writing.

5. Prices and quotations

Any price shown on this site is a guide, given to help you judge whether a trip fits your budget. It is not an offer and it is not binding.

The only price that binds either of us is the one in the written quotation we send you for your own trip. That quotation states what is included, what is not, and how long the price holds. Payment, deposits and cancellation are covered in our Booking Conditions.

6. An enquiry is not a booking

Sending the enquiry form, emailing us or messaging us on WhatsApp does not reserve anything and does not commit you to anything. Nothing is held until you accept a quotation and we receive your deposit, and we confirm the booking to you in writing.

7. Links to other websites

Where we link to another site, such as a national tourism office or a supplier, we do so because we think it is useful. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

You are welcome to link to our pages, provided you do so fairly and do not suggest an association or endorsement that does not exist.

8. Reviews, photographs and what you send us

If you send us a photograph, a review or a trip report, you keep ownership of it. You give us permission to show it on this site and on our social media with your first name and country, unless you tell us otherwise.

Tell us at any time that you would like something of yours taken down and we will remove it, without asking why.

9. Our liability for the website

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available or free of error, and we are not liable for loss arising from your reliance on general information published here rather than on the written quotation and itinerary prepared for you.

Nothing in this section limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

10. Languages

This site is published in English and French. We take care that both say the same thing. If a difference in meaning ever arises between the two versions of a legal page, the English version is the one that governs.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and the version in force is the one published here on the day you use the site.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Kingdom of Morocco, and any dispute arising from them falls to the Moroccan courts. Nothing here removes a right you hold under the consumer law of your own country.
